Sales lived in the POS. Opening and closing checks lived somewhere else. Inventory counts, recipes, procedures, labor, and owner questions were spread across disconnected tools and human memory. Getting one reliable answer meant hunting through all of them.

Does RunBig replace ChatGPT or Claude?+
No. You bring a compatible AI account. RunBig supplies the secure business tools and data context, so RunBig does not need to host the conversation or pay the model-token bill.
Do I need a Square account to try it?+
No. The live trial creates an isolated fictional flagship with sales, product margins, labor, staffing, inventory, packaging, purchasing, waste, equipment, checklists, recipes, promotions, customer metrics, and SOPs.
Can I connect my real Square account today?+
Not through the public trial yet. The connector foundation is built, but real merchant onboarding remains gated on production infrastructure, protected Square configuration, and an independent security review.
Where did RunBig come from?+
RunBig was born from our experience operating Trails Coffee. The product turns lessons from real café operations—fragmented sales, labor, checklists, inventory, recipes, and procedures—into a connected system independent merchants can use with their own AI.
What can RunBig change in my business?+
Nothing in the current version. All MCP tools are read-only. Future actions such as catalog changes, ordering, or staff messaging would require explicit confirmation and auditable permissions.
What is MCP?+
Model Context Protocol is a standard way for an AI assistant to discover and use external tools. RunBig uses it to give compatible AI clients a narrow, structured interface to coffee-shop operations. The live endpoint is https://app.runbig.ai/mcp.
